|Sketch for the blog hop|
Design team members were all given the same sketch and of course in Sketch Support fashion we all have our own interpretation! A chance to win a fabulous grand prize by Sketch Support is up for grabs as long as you enter a comment on Sketch Support's and each designer's blog that is participating in the hop. Also, some team members will be hosting a separate prize give-way (with their own requirements) on their individual blogs.
For my personal blog giveaway, I am excited to give away Allison Davis's new Travel Sketch book! This travel sketch book is loaded with inspiration and ideas galore to scrap your travels plus there are helpful journaling tips along the way.
To win the Travel sketch book from me, please be a follower of my blog (just click the 'follow' button on the side bar) and include in your comment what your dream or favourite travel destination is...easy peasy! I will be closing my giveaway on Friday April 20, midnight EDT. A winner will be randomly drawn and announced here on Saturday April 21. Good luck!
Here is my page based on the blog hop sketch. I used journal tag pages from My Minds Eye Lush collection. There were 2 of the same diecut journal tags in the book so I bookend them behind the photo to make it look like one piece all the way through. Instead of the journal block on the left I used it in the middle in between the photo blocks. Looking at this page make me hungry for those tasty beaver tail pastires! Hope you enjoyed my interpretation of the sketch.
A little bit about me. I have been scrapbooking for 8 years and it has really been my passion and creative outlet ever since the first day I learned to cut a photograph in a circle with a Creative Memories consultant. My family is always my inspiration to scrapbook. I am a night owl, some of my best ideas are created at the oddest times! Here is a photo of my scrap space, it is in my basement. Everything is on open shelves because I have to see my supplies to create. It does tend to get messy but in a good creative messy kind of way!
It has been an absolute joy being on the Sketch Support team this year. I really love the monthly assignments along with the creative freedom to interpret the sketches. I am so inspired by all the other uber talented girls on the team. My favourite sketch I have worked with so far is the add-on sketch in March using banners. Here is the link to read more about it.
Thank you so much for stopping by. Hope you have fun hopping to the other gals, your next stop is the very creative and talented Ashley Horton!
